There is no race in being…

The title for this article arose when I reflected on an energy of urgency I sometimes feel in my body and mind when I “think” of “what I should be doing”. The energy is so heavy and unkind. It is a premise of how this world functions and when I buy it as real, I lose access to my knowing. My thinking is buying into a race that never ends.

Observing this unfolding, I was reminded of what I do know:

  1. that everything is what it is in this moment and the target is to be in total allowance of what is
  2. that I will perceive awareness of any being and/or doing in any moment
  3. that “God is my boss”, not any imposed deadline or world reference point as to what I should be doing or should have already done.

Our “job” is always to honour our own knowing in whatever we be and/or do. This is the case whether at work or play or at home with family and friends (even the furry kind).

What if our own knowing is the only yardstick we require? I absolutely know this to be true. The objective then is to increasingly gain access to that knowing. This is the awakening process.

When I typed in the title I also noticed the play on words that Being also has no race, no cultural distinctions. When we Be Who We Are we have no point of view on any identifications.

The same identifications that create success and failure in our world have also created the discrimination of how we show up in our bodies. Our bodies are so diverse and our world is infinitely enriched by such diversity. We have no hesitation in recognising and acknowledging that in nature, yet our world creates separation with our bodies.

Coming to our knowing and being Who We Are, the distinctions flat-line into no charge and we all be in the Oneness of all that is. This is our target. Whichever way we look, we return to the sole purpose: to be Who We Are in the world. There isn’t anything else.
